We are pleased to announce a new Google Drive integration that simplifies your custom AI development process. Now, you can effortlessly import your Google Drive files—including Google Docs, Google Sheets, and more—directly into the Vext platform to build your custom AI.
Why This Matters
Our core mission at Vext is to empower businesses through RAG methods to rapidly develop AI solutions that suit their unique needs. The Google Drive integration amplifies this mission by making it even more straightforward for you to bring in your essential data by just a few clicks.
How It Works
In the "Create Project" flow, when you're setting up the data for your project, select "Google Drive".
It will ask you to select an account and authorize access to your Google Drive, et Voila! You can now see all the files from your Google Drive, and you can select those files and import them to the platform.
Add Source via Data Page
If you want to add Google Drive file to your existing project/data, go to "Data" and hit "Add Source.
Then select "Google Drive" and go through the same authentication process as mentioned above.
Oct 17th, 2023 Update: We are currently in the final stages of validation with Google for the Google Drive integration. Upon accessing this feature, you'll encounter a notification screen indicating that accessing Google Drive is a sensitive action. Rest assured, Vext only gains access to the files in your Google Drive that you specifically choose to import. Once selected, the content from that file will be imported to the Vext platform. We will not access your Google Drive files without your explicit consent.
Effortless Data Import: Bring in your Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other supported files to the platform with just a few clicks.
Integrated Workflow: No need to toggle between platforms—your Google Drive data is accessible right from Vext.
Enhanced Efficiency: Streamline your AI development by having all your necessary data at your fingertips.

Setting up the Google Drive integration is a breeze. Just log into your Vext account and enable Google Drive when you're importing your data. From there, you can begin importing your files and leverage Vext to build your custom AI.
